Conflict Policy. is committed to all the ongoing global efforts to put a halt to the trade of any diamonds sourced from the “Conflict Zones”.

In January 2003, the diamond industry committed to an intergovernmental agreement called as the Kimberly Process Certificate Scheme (KPCS) whose main task is to eradicate the supply of conflict diamonds from the world’s diamond supplies.

This commitment has borne good fruits and today through the joint efforts of the industry good over 99% of the world diamond supplies are sourced from the Conflict Free Zones (KPCS 2004).

16Diamonds will continue to support the drive and do its part to ensure that all the diamonds we sell are certified from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict and in compliance with the United Nations resolutions.
